Asian Aerospace Services Ltd with its headquarter at Rama-9 Bangkok, has successfully installed and integrated three complex Surveillance Aircraft of the Type DA42NMPP at its Hangar at Don Mueang and handed over to Royal Thai Airforce by end of September, 2020.
The Aircraft are equipped with leading edge Wescam MX15 cameras and an additional Sensor from Rafael.
The three aircraft have arrived at Suvarnabhumi beginning of September and were flown by Asian Aerospace Services Ltd Pilots and Royal Thai Air Force test Pilots to the AAS Hangar for the system integration.
Everything was well coordinated and prepared for a smooth integration and hand over to the Royal Thai Air Force Wing 402 at Takhli.
Over many years, the DA42MPP platform has shown outstanding performance and reliability within the Royal Thai Airforce and with the enhanced performance and payload capabilities of the new DA42NMPP, the three aircraft have been configured for multiple-applications.
The state-of-the art carbon fiber built Multi-Purpose-Platform aircraft are setting new benchmarks towards versatility, Range, Endurance, high utilisation and low-operating costs, within the Royal Thai Airforce.
